Press these just as we direct you below, flat and crisp like beautiful snowflakes. Or, while they are still hot, fold them into little bowls or little taco shapes to be filled. Or, wrap them into small cones for fresh fruit or gelato, as we have pictured above.

We love using warming spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove because they can be either sweet or savory. But, if you want to make this more savory, add dried chipotle powder in place of the nutmeg and brush the tops of the biscuits with melted salted butter before they bake.

(Brown Sugar-Bacon Cracker Jack)

This little gem of a snack is brought to you by the letters C-I-N-C-I-N-N-A-T-I and the color RED. Inspired by the bacon-rich history and hometown team of our beloved Queen City, here begins a Porkopolis-kissed twist on a favorite summertime tradition. Make a double batch of sweet-and-salty Cracker Jack – eat the first half right on through nine innings of play just as it is, and crumble the rest over ice cream for a lineup of gourmet sundaes.
